Using Sideman. Sideman is for practicing and playing music. You must be at least 13 to use the community; if you’re under 18, you need a parent’s or guardian’s permission.
Your content. You keep ownership of what you post. You give Sideman a license to store, display and share it inside the app so the community can see it. You can delete your posts or your whole account at any time.
Community rules. You agree to the community guidelines in the app. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users; we may remove content and accounts that break the guidelines, without notice.
Rights. You’re responsible for having the rights to anything you post, including music and video. Copyright owners can report material through the app or [email protected].
Sideman Pro. Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, billed through the App Store, Google Play or our website (payments by Stripe), under their terms. A free trial, if offered, turns into a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. The subscription renews at the same price and period until you cancel; cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, or from the link in your receipt for web subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds follow the store’s rules (Apple and Google handle refunds for their purchases; contact us for web purchases). If prices change, we’ll tell you before your next renewal.
The app’s content. Sideman’s sounds, lessons, licks and charts are original or licensed and are for your personal practice and performance. Audio you export from Sideman is yours to use in your own practice, recordings and videos.
No guarantees. Sideman is provided as is. We aren’t responsible for meetings or deals between members.
Changes. We may update these terms; if a change matters, we’ll tell you in the app before it takes effect.
